This chapter contains the work done by Bezalel. Here (v1-5) we have the building of the Ark of the Covenant with acacia wood overlaid with pure gold in accordance with God’s instructions in Exodus 25:10-16.
He also made the mercy seat (v6-9) which went on top of the Ark as laid down in 25:17-22; the table of shewbread (v10-16) and its utensils as instructed in Exodus 25:23-30; the gold lamp stand (v17-24) as laid down in 25:31-40; the Altar of Incense (v25-28) in accordance the instructions in 30:1-10; and the anointing oil (v29) as laid down in 30:22-38.
