In verses 1-7 we have the instructions for the making of the ephod for the high priest as instructed in the pattern laid down in Exodus 28:5-14. Then follows the breastplate for the high priest (v8-21) as per the instructions in Exodus 28:15-29. Next was the robe for the high priest, tunics, turbans, sashes and trousers for the priests (v22-29) made according to the pattern in Exodus 28:31-43. Finally, was the turban for the high priest (v30,31) according to the pattern laid down by God in Exodus 28:36-38.
When all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished in accordance with the pattern laid down by The LORD (v32-41) they brought all of it to Moses, who looked over all the work (42,43). He found that they had followed The LORD’s instructions. Moses had initially received the pattern from The LORD therefore he was in the unique position to look over it and see that they had followed the pattern and, therefore, Moses blessed them.
